"Ernest" Glass Collection- The Mirage of Old Glass
The National History Museum of Transylvania hosts the personal
glass collection of the well known antiquity collector Versánsky
Ernest. With this exhibition the museum intends to preserve
the tradition of exhibiting private collections in temporary
exhibitions. These collections usually impress by their number,
variety, quality and beauty of the exhibited objects. |

East-European Historical Bike Rally
Music, many contests and interesting places to see is the promise
of the Transylvania Riders Turda for those who will choose to head
for Turda in the final weekend of June. All the bike lovers are
invited to tune up their bikes, put on fancy leather suits and go
for an adventure in Transylvania. The organizers promise many contests
in which the bikers will show off their skills and interesting encounters
with other bike fans from all Europe.

"Luis Barragan - space, colour and water and serenity"
The Embassy of Mexico in Romania, the Ethnographic Museum and Cluj
Branch of the Architects Order are presenting in Cluj-Napoca, between
July 27th and September 3rd, an exhibition depincting the works
of Mexican architect Luis Barragan. After a successful presentation
in Bucharest and Timisoara, the exhibition promises an encounter
with the works of an interesting artist who was awarded the Pritzker
Award for Architecture. The exhibition will be open for the public
daily, between 9AM and 5PM, in the Reduta building of the Ethnographic
Museum, in 21 Memorandumului Street. |

Dracula Bikers Fest 2006
Dracula Bikers Fest 2006 is organized by Dracula Bikers MC for all
those who love to ride bikes, even if they do not own one. All who
are crazy about bikes are invited in Cluj, from where they will
head for Capus, a village 15 km away. There they will have the occasion
to get to know each other and spend some quality time, “spiced”
with goulash and music.

“Puck” International Festival
:
Cluj-Napoca will host the fifth edition of the “Puck”
International Puppets and Marionettes Festival. Ten theatrical
companies will be invited from Romania and seven from Europe.
